Be Strong, 1S1'09
Hey 1S1, I know nowadays times have been tough, what with EOYs coming up and issues about the level of our class-bonding.
I just want to say that, 1S1'09 has probably been the best thing that has ever happened to me this year (well, other than becoming a Suju fan, but ANYWAYS. XD). Although 50% of the times I really feel like banging my head onto the wall because of you guys (heh XD), there are always things that happen that make me feel very greatful to be in 1S1.
I can still remember the day when (almost) everyone stayed back to help in decorating the classroom. I was seriously so moved that I almost cried (ok, not really, but you get the gist. XD) I believe that that was the very first time 1S1'09 had really come together to work on something. Although it was kind of late, it still really, really made me feel thankful that I had such wonderful friends.
Also, (for those who came) remember that time, about 28 of us stayed back to take the National Day'09 photo. I was really heartened to find that you had all brought red/white T-shirts, and were willing to stay back to take the photo. It was a really, really hot day, and most of us were wearing our coloured shirts OVER our uniform blouse, so you know how close to heatstroke we were.
However,
none of you complained about the heat/how long it was taking. Instead, you complied whenever Loo Sin/Yong Ning told us where to move, and the photo came out perfect.
And we won 1st prize.Though this may sound cheesy, but really, words cannot express my feelings.
1S1'09 is probably the only thing that can make me become so bipolar. One minute I seriously feel like stabbing my eyeballs out to vent my anger, one minute I love you guys so much that I could squish you allto death XDD
What I really want to say is, be strong, 1S1'09. Though things may not go our way, and people say that "1S1 is not bonded.", I believe that we are probably the class that will shine in the end, kind of like the black horses, you know?
I know that 1S1'09 has the potential to shine. We've all seen our Science marks, all we need to do is improve in our other subjects. I really believe that we can make our teachers proud by getting awesome marks in our EOYs.
So let's show them. Show them that we're better than what they think we are, prove them wrong. Let them know that 1S1'09
can excel in both academics and..er, non-academics? XDD
So, um, I guess I'll end off with some lyrics from a song called
'We Will Not Grow Old' by Lenka. It's really a wonderful song, you should listen to it. (One reason I like it so much is because I think the lyrics suit 1S1'09 very well :D)
